PV Modelling software
One of the most complete design tools available in CENER for modelling the behaviour of solar cells is Silvaco TCAD with its modules: S-Pisces, Blaze, Luminous, TFT, Device3D, Luminous3D and TFT3D.
Thanks to simulation, the details of photo generation of carriers in single junction and multi-junction solar cells of different technologies can be extracted. Light absorption and photogeneration in planar and non-planar solar cells using different methods can be also modelled.Access
HZB - HySPRINT
HZB is offering VIPERLAB users access to The Perovskite Database is a crowd-sourcing data-collection effort to collect all available key performance metrics determined for halide perovskite solar cell materials and devices in one common place to enable making published research data more findable, accessible, inter-operatable and re-usable (FAIR).
The data extracted includes metadata describing the devices, procedures, and features, as well as key metrics for device performance.Access
The VA facility AMANDA is an automated research line for the fully automatic processing and characterization of Perovskite solar cells. The line will be used both for process development and optimization of Perovskite devices, as well as the production of larger sample sets of identical devices for stability studies.
As a VA AMANDA is accessed through a browser-based web portal that allows for large scale design of experiments and access to the experimental data.Access
All computing facilities in ENEA are integrated within ENEAGRID (https://www.eneagrid.enea.it), an infrastructure for distributed computing over six sites whose main facilities are the HPC CRESCO clusters in operation at ENEA RC Portici and it is characterized by solid structural components integrated in a user-friendly environment.
